This is a suit under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 1001 et seq., by the widow of an employee of S & H, claiming that S & Hs Retirement Plan, an ERISA plan, violated its fiduciary duties to her husband and herself, causing a loss of retirement benefits. The district judge granted summary judgment for Mrs. Lorenzen, awarding her some $192,000, and the plan appeals. Mrs. Lorenzen cross-appeals, seeking prejudgment interest.
